If you have left over icing let you children decorate plain biscuits to use it up. Rich Tea or similar are ideal. I always keep a selection of decorations ie: hundreds and thousands, jelly sweets etc. Keeps the children occupied for ages, and they love to share the results with anyone who'll eat them! |

We used to have a dish called Poorman's Risotto when I was growing up. You boil up wholegrain rice and at the same time grill some unsmoked bacon and sausages. Chop up the bacon and sausages into chunks and add some sauteed onions. Stir into the rice and you have the most yummiest filling meal ever. You can veggie it by using vegetarian sausages and bacon strips. |
