Add essential oils to a warm bath (not too hot). Soak for about 20 minutes. When you get out, head straight to bed. Place a few drops of lavender essential oil to your pillow for a relaxed sleep.
For headches
You'll need:
600ml cold water
2 drops lavender oil
1 drop lemon oil
In a bowl, pour the water and add the oils. Soak a piece of muslin or cotton until soaked through. Wring it out. Lie down and apply to your forehead for about 15 minutes.
Pour boiling water to the oil burner dish (just 3/4 full). Add oils and light candle. Set beside your bed or on your desk to clear any blocked noses or chesty coughs.
NB. If you use an oil burner, always add essential oils to boiling water and place the burner in the hallway or stairwell. Or add oils or herbs to your evening bath to heal and soothe. Never apply oils directly to your skin.
